Welcome tray at the hotel in Paris. Gotta love having all those Marriott points.
Self-Portrait of Dale and me at the "Geode" in Parc de la Villette in North Paris. Do you see us?
Dale in front of the "Geode". I had to swear to the security guard that I wasn't taking commercial photographs.
Roman Temple at the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont - This park was converted from a garbage dump and quarry in the 1860's. This park was a lovely surprise with up and down terrain and a waterfall.
OK - the waterfall was man-made but still a nice surprise in the middle of the city.
Interesting view of Sacre Coeur from Parc des Buttes-Chaumont
Dale thought I was nuts to take a picture of leaves in the shadow of of a fence with a leaf.
Colorful shops along the Canal St-Martin
The canal St-Martin was hyped as very picturesque. I beg to differ. I did like this very French-looking guy walking along in his linen jacket and white hat.
One of the locks on the Canal St-Martin.
